My name is Ivy and I am delighted to be the teacher of room 6. I have been a teacher in the Philippines for many years. My journey to become a teacher in New Zealand started through studying TESOL in 2016 and Master of Teaching and Learning in 2018.

Eyes on Art!
What a wonderful gathering of artists in our hall. We were all inspired and delighted.
It was a joy to talk to the artists about their work. We were in awe of their talent!

Little Kiwi
The kiwi is a very special treasure that belongs to us - New Zealand- our place!
We read a lovely story about a lonely kiwi bird who went looking for friendship. We made some 'kiwi art' into a book retelling this story

Autumn
Autumn is a beautiful season heralding the arrival of the colder weather. The trees paint a picture right in front of us: green to orange, yellow, red and finally brown.
Tane Mahuta day - a time to celebrate our noble Kauri tree. We enjoyed creating leaf rubbings.
Here are some gorgeous leaves created by Room 3 to commemorate this season. We made lovely Mother's day card showcasing our leaves too.
