Zoo Animals

At the Zoo I saw a rhinoceros and I saw a giraffe
and I saw a baboon.  It was fun and it was cool.

I saw a giraffe eating leaves and it’s tongue
was purple and I was surprised.  I know why.
I could hear the birds but I couldn’t see them.
I saw only two birds.  They were the Kaka
and the Tui. Prajith

I walked around the Zoo with Ruby and Sapphire
and my Dad.  I saw the fishing cat.
It made no noise. There’s no Cheetahs anymore
and Cheetahs are my favourite animals in the
entire world.  They are dotty and they’re fast cats.
I can run as fast as a Cheetah. Amber

I saw a giraffe that had a long neck. and it was
super long.  Shane

When the gates opened we walked inside and
we saw spider monkeys.  The tigers were lying
down under the trees. I heard the pigs but I
didn’t see them.  Then, I saw a baby piglet.
His mother came out to make sure
he was safe. Tyson

I like giraffes because they have my
favourite colours.  Those colours are
yellow and brown. Alice

Tigers look friendly.
 I would like to touch it but they are
actually dangerous.  If you touch it you will
get eaten - so be careful.
Be careful incase the gate is open.

Animals, animals, animals everywhere!

The Zoo is a place where lots of animals live.
One animal was the best. I could tell that they
live in a really not place.  My favourite
animals are the giraffe, tigers and wild hunting dogs. I saw a baby Zebra and it’s mum and dad.  The baby was super cute. I like the wild hunting dogs because it eats meat and I eat meat too. The giraffe is helpful because it can eat your leftover leaves.

Guess What

Yesterday I went to the Zoo and I saw heaps
of animals there.  Let me tell you what animals
I saw. Spider monkeys, and when we were looking
there we spied a monkey hiding on the side of the
rocks. Piglets, they were really cute.  
There were tigers and giraffes and a
baby zebra Ruby

The tiger is dangerous and it is cute.  
It has sharp claws and sharp teeth.
It can bite you but I was not scared.  Glory

The door opened wide and away we went on the bus.  When we got there, we saw lots of animals. There was a rhino, and we saw a tiger and a kea.  I love the wild dog because of his patterns. William

I went to the Zoo.   I saw the spider monkey.  
The spider monkey is going on the roof of the house.  Lily

The gates open! We walk inside.  
We could hear the birds chirping but we
couldn’t see them.  It was very weird.

Zoo, Zoo, Zoo!  The Zoo opened and we went in.
The Zoo keeper took us to the mat.  
He said we could feel all the dead animals
around the Zoo classroom.
First we saw the birds and then we saw
a spider monkey. The spider monkey was
jumping to the other side very fast.  Amisha

When I got to the Zoo I felt like I was going
to fry because it  was so hot. My favourite animal
is the tiger because they are so cute and fluffy.
 I love going to Hamilton Zoo because there are
lots of different animals to see. Mia

I saw the black and white monkeys.  They were
soft. The New Zealand falcon are beautiful
because they can fly very high.  Nicky

Open the gate and in we go.  
There was tons of noise and there was a screaming
monkey.  My favourite animal was the
