Room14's tamariki celebrated Chinese New Year and made dragon puppets. We were able to improvise and have our own New Year Dragon Dance.

First Week at School
The tamariki of Room 14 enjoyed their first week at school. We all had a wonderful time getting to know each other and playing games. We also did some Kid's Yoga to relax us after playing in the hot sun at lunchtime. Everyone had a blast doing the 'magic painting' which is now proudly displayed in class. Our highlight of the week was formulating our class treaty and signing them with our beautifully coloured names. We all agreed to be kind, nice and to take care of each other.
