Daffodil Day

Today is daffodil day. We all almost came in yellow. If we brought a gold coin, we got a sticker. We took a photo, I was wearing a light up headband.

On Daffodil day, we wore yellow. Some people weren’t wearing yellow, they wore daffodils on their shirt instead. Even the teachers wore that too.

One sunny Friday morning, nearly everybody in the school were wearing gorgeous yellow. Do you know why we’re wearing yellow? It’s for the people that had cancer and died. We are trying to fundraise for the scientist to find a medicine for cancer.

On a Friday that I was sick, we had daffodil day. Some of the classmates wore yellow. We have daffodil day for the people who have cancer. We need to give a gold coin so they could have money to buy medicine and get better.

Today is called Daffodil day. It is for wearing yellow or daffodil flowers because we are supporting people who have cancer. It makes me sad, I wear it for my nana.
