Our Lemon Experiment

This week, Room 16 tried a lemon experiment to show another way a volcano erupts. We used lemon as our volcano. Let's see what our little scientist have observed through this awesome activity.

I was doing experiment with lemon. We put baking soda with food colouring to the lemon. After putting everything on top, the lemon erupted. The colour was blue.

Today, we did a fantastic experiment. We used lemon and baking soda in a container. Then we put food colour. Ivy cut the lemon and then it slowly came out of the lemon. It was bubbling. I love it.

We are scientist. We did an exciting experiment after morning tea. First, Ivy cut up the lemon and then we put baking soda but nothing happened. We put blue food colour, then it erupt. After it erupted, Ivy poked the lemon and there were more eruption. We saw blue bubbles and we heard fizzy.
